Quran Caption v3.8.0
This major update introduces audio and video speed controls, customizable layer ordering, animated image zoom, and several improvements to the Style Editor and Word-by-Word subtitles.
Audio & Video Speed Control
-
Added a new tool to speed up or slow down audio and video files.
You can now adjust playback speed from 3x slower to 3x faster, directly from the Tools menu or by right-clicking a clip on the timeline.
-
Audio pitch is preserved when changing playback speed.
-
Added an option to automatically adapt subtitle timings when changing the speed of an audio clip.
This also adjusts Word-by-Word timestamps, keeping subtitles synchronized with the modified recitation.
-
Speed-adjusted media is saved as a new asset, preserving the original file.
Layer Ordering (Z-Order)
-
Added a new Z-Order slider in the Style Editor.
You can now control which elements appear in front of or behind others, including Arabic subtitles, translations, Surah names, reciter names, verse numbers, custom text, and images.
-
Added layer ordering controls to the video preview's right-click menu.
Easily move elements forward or backward without leaving the preview.
-
Layer ordering is now saved with projects and style presets.
Existing projects and older presets are automatically adapted while preserving previously configured layer positions.
Animated Image Zoom
-
Added progressive zoom animations for images on the video timeline.
Right-click an image clip and enable "Animate Image Zoom" to create a smooth zoom-in effect throughout its duration.
-
Customize the final zoom level from 1x to 3x.
-
Animations are supported in both the video preview and final exports.
Style Editor
-
Reorganized Surah Name and Reciter Name settings into clearer groups.
Arabic calligraphy, Latin text, and positioning controls are now easier to navigate.
-
Settings that are not currently applicable are automatically hidden.
For example, Latin text styling options are hidden when Latin text is disabled.
Arabic Fonts
-
QPC V2 is now the default Arabic font when selecting the Hafs Riwayah.
-
Fixed AI Segmentation unnecessarily resetting previously selected Arabic fonts.
Your custom font preferences are now preserved when segmentation does not change the project's Riwayah.
Word-by-Word Subtitles
-
Fixed Word-by-Word markers on the timeline sometimes displaying technical references (such as 2:255:3) instead of the actual Arabic words.
Quran Caption now resolves and displays the correct Arabic text whenever available.
